so yesterday, i asked sham to tell me any ghost stories he's already heard from camp. i assured him that i wouldnt get nightmares cos
"the ghosts all at your camp what! your problem la. not mine"
haha.
ya ya. next time tell me not to talk so much k? =P
my threshold for ghost stories is extremely lowwwww laa. couldnt sleep the whole of last night. it was extremely warm yesterday but i still covered my whole body up with my blanket. i dunno why covering myself with a blanket can protect me from ghosts laa. haha.
oh, my mom's also the type who cannot watch/hear ghost stories.
den she still watched two ghost movie dvds and 'incredible tales' yesterday.
dad says mom was screaming in her sleep last night. hahaha.
and right now, at this point in time, she's watching yet another scary movie (congkak).
and i swear HER screaming is gonna give me nightmares. hahaha.
she can still ask me to watch with her some more.

went out with nen and dee yesterday. you girls are great fun! =D thanks for makin me laugh oodles much! and sorry i was super sick yesterday, and might've brought the mood down a little.
i swear everything went by me in a fuzzzz.
SUMMARY: went to meet radz for KRISPY KREME! (THANKS RADDDZZZ XD),
den cisco to take pic for public service card (THANKS FOR ACCOMPANYING ME NEN! =D),
den vivo for a bit of shopping and bnjs,
den Peranakan Museum for fun? and glow-in-the-dark room,
den outside National Museum for movie screening while eating ice-cream.

yes, i knoe. the dress is gorgeous.
BUT.
i don't have it in that colour!

mine's orange with purple embroidery!
i'm very stressed now.
i love it but hate the colour.
why laaa my aunt's friend choose that colour combi? haha.

so, everytime i sneeze today (estimated value of 5 million sneezes, and still counting...)
i get this sharp pain in the left side of my lower abdomen. and when im not sneezing, the pain's there but not too bad.
why i always have this kinda problem one?

ANYWAYYYYY, they said its nothing too serious. i just have a very sensitive stomach.
cos unlike YOU GUYS, i've got a cardia failure resulting in GERD. wth is cardia u ask?

went swimming with radz on friday =D
and this time i reallie swam ok.
note: my term of swimming equals exercising my muscles to go from one end to the other. freestyle swimming for me, is reallie....freestyle =S
omg its uber funnnnnnn! im sure i can speak for radz also, that we were indeed very proud of ourselves. usuallie when i go swimming with sham, he does most of the swimming, and i just wade or float in the water. the only thing i accomplish is a tan.
but this time, when i got out of the pool, i swear my legs were as jelly-ish as jello! weeeee! at least im getting some exercise done huh?
yea yea, ur all gonna say "but ur so skinny kai!"
yes, i am skinny! but im also flabbbyyyyy! haha.
i felt naked without make-up. but luckily i had my handy-dandy glasses to hide them awfulawfulawful dark circles!so anyway, radz and i, we're aiming for a weekly swimming regime. anyone wanna join? =)

AWESOME SHOW. its 2 and a half hours long. GREAT storyline. SO worth ur money, what with the duration of the movie and the detailed storyline. it IS a tad political i would say, and kinda draggy at some parts.

just came back from breakfast with radz. and as usual, my anti-breakfast-tummy is getting all funky on me. sigh. i LOVE breakfast. i hate the aftermath.
two girls came up to me just now, while i was walkin home. they asked if they could take a picture of me, for national day. its some collective thingy, they're putting together 30,000 people's faces.
firstly, my stomach was screaming, "U MADE ME HAVE BREAKFAST? AND NOW U STILL WANNA TAKE PICTURE?!"
secondly i'd feel weird takin a solo pic while everyone else is walking past me,
thirdly its cos they will show my pic along with 29,999 other people and altho thats a lotta people, someone might just spot my bafoon face. haha. so i had to reject them.
and then the girl gave me sad puppy eyes and said, "even if it's to promote racial harmony?"
waaa this girl damn smart. haha. but i still rejected her la. oops.
just to clear the record, i DO promote racial harmony kayyyyy? i just didnt feel like having my picture taken.
radz called me shortly after cos she was also approached by two other girls and they managed to get her pic. hehehe. spot her face kay? =P
anyway, from this entry onwards, its abt my cat. haha.

Some say the Keddie murders some say the manson family murders. The director was said to have thought it up after recalling an incident that happened to him when he was a young boy. While some of the events in the movie may have merit to them the names are fictional. Hope this helps!

went out with nen today. she accompanied me to get a birthday present for Nurin (my tutee). I got her a cat mug. its VERY cute. even the non-cat-fan-nen thought its cute. but maybe its cos i've been draggin her arounnnd and arounnnd, so she wants me to get it over and done with. haha.
but thanks nen!!! thank u sooo sooo much! and i dont mind not going so far la! i'm also a bum like u y'know. (cept' i dun stare at ceiling fans la =P)
oh ya, sorry i super pekak (translation: deaf) tdy =S
oh yea, we went to watch The Strangers. omg i regret watchin it k. the first half hour or so, nen and i were screaming into each others ears. OMG. NEN! i just realised why im super pekak today!haha.
anyway, i was soooooooo stressed watching the show. remind me NEVER EVER to watch thriller movies. i was ready to sacrifice my life for the characters k!
and then, there was this stupid usher who kept walking in and out of the theatre. so nen and i could see his shadow, and its ALWAYS at the SCARY scenes. irrriiittaaattiinnnnggg.
anyway, yea the movie's inspired by a true event about a couple being violently murdered at their summer home. omg la. they very poor thing ok. there was one scene where i teared up. sooooo poor thing =(
and i think the murder's unsolved. cos when the movie ended, everyone went, "HUH??..."

i was just reading jana's blog. and i feel like my heart is FULL (u knoe those games where ur supposed to ensure ur characters' lives/hearts are full?) when i knoe my friends are treated well and are happy.
i hope he will always make u smile dearest jana. and i swear i had one of the best first impressions of a person when i first got to meet him =) so be rest assured. lol.
and thanks again fai for clearing things up, abt the teaching thing, with me. it reallie isnt a bad deal after all, in fact its even better huh? =)
so anyway today was spent sending my relatives off. when i hugged my aunt, she whispered "see you in december"

so anyway today was spent sending my relatives off. when i hugged my aunt, she whispered "see you in december"

u knoe wad? i was re-reading my acceptance letter. and i now i've understood it another way.
"I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected for a permanent appointment to the Education Service as a.....You will be considered for teacher training at the......at the next intake subject to vacancies and availability of classes for the assigned subject combinations...In the meantime, you may be deployed to a school to teach prior to undergoing training at..."
i've skipped out some parts in case they sue me for typing the letter out in my blog. hahah. although i thnk its damn obvious already i am =S
anywayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, later on in the letter it says,
"Upon acceptance of offer, you will assume duty as a...on 8 September 2008"
ok, so INITIALLY i thought that meant i start training on 8 sept. BUT BUT BUT. i actuallie downloaded the training schedule and all for 2008/2009 intake.
AND sem 1 starts 4 Aug.
orientation is from 23 July to 1 Aug.

just came back from my aunt's place. i love my silly family =D i feel so loved with them around. and my aunt and unc who's visiting from LA, told me its possible there's a plan to bring me there in December. cos its the xmas season and it'll be BEAUTIFUL.

but now im still waiting for that letter from MOE. i reallie hope i get it. i knoe a coupla friends who didnt get in. and we have the same qualifications. =S

sham was there too. and he gave me a lil' something something that he says reminds him of me.
hahaha. ok la, at least its a CUTE camel. =P
oh yea, so yesterday my mom, aunts and uncles and i went to east coast's BFD. so not my kinda place. i guess cos they were playing songs for the generation of people i was with. =P
mummy(who posed just a second after i released the shutter release button) and i.
afterward we went to watch hancock at vivo. first of all, we sat in the third row from the front. i needed my puke bag when they were showing advertisements =S
so anyway, the only reason i would even mention that the movie's good, is only cos of will smith. seriousllllyyyy. the first half was really funny, and den it just got too messy and nonsensical.
no no, dun get me wrong ladies, Will Smith is STILL hott stuff XD
and so, moooving on..

ONE full day left to spend with him before he enters...the dark side.

sham brought me to the zoo yesterday. oh yes, we've already established that.
so here are the highlights of our trip =D
first animals we saw were the otters! so cute right? they were all sleeping when we reached.
how gorgeous is this cat???? i nearly cried when i saw it. cos it was so massive and BEAUTIFUL. it kept walkin and posing for us visitors, like stopping to look in our direction. or maybe it was just hungry. haha.
this tortoise kept swimming towards us as we were taking pictures of mr croc. so, we had to give him credit for tryna get attention. haha.
there's mr crocodile for you. btw, the crocodile exhibit is adopted by Crocs. how cute is that? haha.
this is the squirrel monkey. its super super cute ok! its like, the size of a kitten! i guess thats why its called a squirrel monkey.
meet Carlos! oh he's sucha sweetheart. we watched his show at the splash safari. AWESOME show ok. super entertaining.
and yes! i got a wet fishy kiss from him!!! im totally in love with Carlos. *sigh*
den we went to see the kangaroos. they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorableeeeeeeeee!!!!!
and also the kangaroo keepers were the friendliest. =) feeding the roos was 5buckeroos. buckeROOS geddit? heh heh. =P so anyway, cos we didnt have small change and they couldnt provide us change, the keeper was like "alaa $4, gedebak gedebuk can already la"

mr emu: wth is guy talkin abt? i can't hear. *walks a bit closer*

mr emu: okay. seriouslie. did i hear him say "come fly with me lets fly lets fly awayyy"? *walks all the way to us, and ducks its head under the fence to try and get out*

yes. i was tryna smile naturally. but i was very afraid. helooooo it has a realllie sharp beak!!! =S

haha. ok, no. it was just walkin away. this pic no zooming one okaaayy. there was a glass panel seprating us from cheetah. its so beautiful! cats are just beautiful laaa!
we didnt get to capture a clear pic of the cheetah. but check out the footprints! i forced sham to take a pic of the footprints. he insists its nothing much to look at. but i think that its SO cuuute! =D
and this fella..has only one horn.. so the keepers put him in the rhino exhibit. aiyoh. they should classify animals better next time huh? haha.
oh yaa. we rode on the elephant. and this pic was taken when we were on the elephant. and noo, we werent on the elephant that was peeing(refer to previous entry). that elephant who peed btw, puked 1 min later u knoeee! so kesian right! after it puked, it sorta made a funny trumpeting sound, in a grouchy kinda way and snapped a tree branch off a tree.
and ate it.

so here are the highlights of our trip =D
how gorgeous is this cat???? i nearly cried when i saw it. cos it was so massive and BEAUTIFUL. it kept walkin and posing for us visitors, like stopping to look in our direction. or maybe it was just hungry. haha.
this tortoise kept swimming towards us as we were taking pictures of mr croc. so, we had to give him credit for tryna get attention. haha.
there's mr crocodile for you. btw, the crocodile exhibit is adopted by Crocs. how cute is that? haha.this is the squirrel monkey. its super super cute ok! its like, the size of a kitten! i guess thats why its called a squirrel monkey.meet Carlos! oh he's sucha sweetheart. we watched his show at the splash safari.
