so here are the highlights of our trip =D
how gorgeous is this cat???? i nearly cried when i saw it. cos it was so massive and BEAUTIFUL. it kept walkin and posing for us visitors, like stopping to look in our direction. or maybe it was just hungry. haha.
this tortoise kept swimming towards us as we were taking pictures of mr croc. so, we had to give him credit for tryna get attention. haha.
there's mr crocodile for you. btw, the crocodile exhibit is adopted by Crocs. how cute is that? haha.
this is the squirrel monkey. its super super cute ok! its like, the size of a kitten! i guess thats why its called a squirrel monkey.
meet Carlos! oh he's sucha sweetheart. we watched his show at the splash safari. AWESOME show ok. super entertaining. 
and yes! i got a wet fishy kiss from him!!! im totally in love with Carlos. *sigh*
den we went to see the kangaroos. they are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorableeeeeeeeee!!!!! and also the kangaroo keepers were the friendliest. =) feeding the roos was 5buckeroos. buckeROOS geddit? heh heh. =P so anyway, cos we didnt have small change and they couldnt provide us change, the keeper was like "alaa $4, gedebak gedebuk can already la"

ok, now let's meet mr emu, sham's new bff. it was initially far away from us, just..bumming around i guess? and den...sham:Kurrr kurrr kurrrr
mr emu: wth is guy talkin abt? i can't hear. *walks a bit closer*
sham: kurr kurr kuuuuuuuuuuurrr kurrrr
mr emu: okay. seriouslie. did i hear him say "come fly with me lets fly lets fly awayyy"? *walks all the way to us, and ducks its head under the fence to try and get out*

yes. i was tryna smile naturally. but i was very afraid. helooooo it has a realllie sharp beak!!! =S
look look! a cheetah in action!haha. ok, no. it was just walkin away. this pic no zooming one okaaayy. there was a glass panel seprating us from cheetah. its so beautiful! cats are just beautiful laaa!
we didnt get to capture a clear pic of the cheetah. but check out the footprints! i forced sham to take a pic of the footprints. he insists its nothing much to look at. but i think that its SO cuuute! =D
and this fella..has only one horn.. so the keepers put him in the rhino exhibit. aiyoh. they should classify animals better next time huh? haha.
oh yaa. we rode on the elephant. and this pic was taken when we were on the elephant. and noo, we werent on the elephant that was peeing(refer to previous entry). that elephant who peed btw, puked 1 min later u knoeee! so kesian right! after it puked, it sorta made a funny trumpeting sound, in a grouchy kinda way and snapped a tree branch off a tree.and ate it.
so strange doncha thnk? hahah.
